Radio Taiwan International (2007)
Special transmission in German via Tainan 9955 kHz, May 11 2007, featuring the inauguration of the new highspeed railway. HSR Hsinchu Station. The circular concept for the outer structure of the HSR Hsinchu station was inspired by the high-tech semi-conductor industry in Hsinchu. The material used to make the inner part is glass. The design of expanding concentric circles sis based on traditional Hakka architecture. The station wone first place in the 2006 Taiwan Architecture Prize Competition.
